Internship led by Shimabukuro Sensei in Vernouillet, Yvelines (78) the 03/12/2008
Sensei Alain Lereculey, 5th dan Shotokan, Professor Karate Club in Vernouillet organized a placement Uechi-ryu inviting Shimabukuro Sensei, representative of Uechi-ryu Soke in Europe.
More than eighty people were present : Shotokan, Shito-ryu and the other styles of the Yvelines League.
The specificities of Uechi-ryu such as physical training, open hands technique, self-defense technique, practices overcoming age, etc., were presented by Sensei Shimabukuro who will soon have 67 years.
All participants were delighted to participate in the special Uechi-ryu training, a unique Okinawan karate.
