The 7 to 9 November 2025, the dojo run by our friend Paquita organized an internship in Lloret de Mar.
Located approximately 75 kilometers north of Barcelona, this seaside town in Catalonia is very pleasant at this time of year. The temperature is around 19 degrees and the sun shines all day long.
Like last year, all participants and their families are installed at the Selecta hotel, which represents approximately 78 people distributed over 34 rooms.
This year it’s accompanied by Yukinobu Shimabukuro, Lamia, his daughter Rim and my wife Sylvie as we leave Roissy CdG airport for Spain.
Classes will continue during this long weekend of practice. Indeed, six workouts are scheduled exclusively outdoors.
All practitioners, around thirty come from the Santa Coloma de Cervello dojo. Was also present, Kim from Nys who trains with our friend Patrick Wauters in Mechelen and who lives part of the year in Ibiza.

Self défense (how to protect yourself / graduated response to aggression / multiple attack response)
The training sessions were followed with enthusiasm, serious and above all good humor.
Note the presentation by Shimabukuro sensei of the diploma of 1he dan to a student of Paquita.
