The Tokyo tournament organized annually by International UechiRyu (chaired by sensei Shimoji) took place in August 2007.
Thierry Vatelin (Toulouse Shubukan) distinguished himself by winning the combat and technical competitions. He also produced a fine double since he had already hooked to his belt the previous fight competition 2006.
