Kanbun started teaching his friends the Okinawan Kenpo Pangainoon the dormitory where he works. Tomoyose Ryuyu, Saburo Uehara, etc. are among its first students. Death of HUS in Shiwa 52 years Fujian, China.

1927

Kanei joined his father for work, and began training with him.

1932

Kanbun opened his first dojo in Tehira, Wakayama as the Pangainoon Ryu Karate Jutsu Kenkyusho (Institut de Pangainoon Ryu Karate Jutsu).

1933

Kanei Menkyo Kaiden gets from his father, and he opened a dojo in Nishinari, Osaka.

1938

Seiko Toyama began training with Kanbun.

1939

Kanei is marie. Start of WWII.

1940

Kanei moved his dojo in Amagasaki, Hyogo. It changes the style name in Uechi Ryu Karate Jutsu in tribute to his father,founder of this style. Itokazu Seiki began training with Kanei.

1941

Birth of Kanmei, Petit-Fils de Kanbun, the 10 more. The Pacific War broke out.

1942

Kanei returned to Nago, Okinawa. He opened a dojo in Miyazato, In the nude. Kansei, younger brother, learned with Kanei.

1945

Kanbun retourne à Nago, Okinawa. Toyama Seiko, Seiyu Shinjo, etc. back together.

1948

Kanei moved to Nodake, Ginowan. He opened a dojo, and a second dojo Kanzatobaru, Skin.

1955

Kanei moved his dojo in Futenma, Ginowan.

1961

First Competition in May between the dojos Uechi Ryu.

1963

Kanei built the present Honbu Dojo (parent).

1967

Kanei received the title of Hanshi 10th Dan Zen Nihon Karatedo Rengokai. He was invited to the Nihon Budokan by Japan Karatedo Federation (President Mr Sasagawa) for a special demonstration in the first Karate tournament in all of Japan. Shintoku Takara and Komesu Kiyoshi accompany the 20 March. Kanei and Tomoyose Ryuko are invited to the US by G. Mattson September.

1968

First Public Competition organized in September by the Uechi Ryu.

1971

Shubukai is changed Uechi Ryu Karatedo Kyokai (Uechi Ryu Karatedo Association of)

1975

Kanei was appointed Chairman of the Zen Okinawa Karatedo Renmei (Okinaïenne Karatedo Federation).

1977

Kanei received the title of Hanshi 10th Dan in the Okinawan Karatedo Federation. The big book of Uechi Ryu, « Sei Etsu Okinawa Karatedo» is published.

1981

The team of Uechi Kanmei, Tomoyose Ryuko, Toshio lying down, Takamiyagi Shigeru and Minoru Miyagi visit Fuzhou, in Fujian for a cultural and friendly exchange with the Association Of Martial Arts Fuzhou, and asks him to find traces of HUS Shiwa.

1983

Kanei receives from Ginowan the honorary sports award in tribute to its contribution to spread the Karatedo. The Association Of Martial Arts Fuzhou makes its report on SHU Shiwa the Association to Uechi Ryu Karatedo the 15 November.

1991

Death of the Kanei 24 February. Kanmei, his eldest son, succeeds becoming the third generation of Uechi Ryu Karatedo.
