The Karatedo is considered a martial art rather than a sport. We make sports to pass the time or for us relax. Sport often aims to establish the best record or show its superiority to other. A martial art is also seeking physical and mental strength, but this force is not directed towards the other to outdo. The Karatedo must be practiced to form the personality of each in order to live harmoniously with the environment. The moral codes of Karatedo such as the sense of discipline, the courtesy, the respect, modesty, tolerance, kindness, etc. must be registered strictly within the heart of every practitioner.
